Care Circle

Mission Statement:  The Care Circle Ministry is a ministry of volunteer members and friends of the church providing crisis and short term support services for members and friends of the church.  The services are intended to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and/or serve as a bridge to longer term services from other providers.

Services
1.  Transportation
     a.  Volunteers may provide transportation for up to two round trips per crisis.
     b.  Unless other arrangements are made with the pastor or a parish nurse, the person(s) being transported will pay for gas for the volunteer.
2.  Meals
     a.  Volunteers may provide up to 6 meals/three week period/per crisis.
3.  Respite
     a.  Volunteers may provide a break for a caregiver and/or child care for up to two sessions of two hours per crisis.
     b.  Volunteers may provide a listening ear and/or caring presence.

Access
    The Care Circle Ministries shall be accessed through the pastor and/or parish nurse.  At the time the volunteer is contacted, Pastor Al or a Parish Nurse will give details about the specific need.

Supervision
    The Health Ministries Team will provide supervision for the Care Circle Ministries.
